Configuring Perfmon Monitor Wizard
This topic provides information about configuring the Perfmon Monitor Wizard.
On the Add Monitoring Configuration window, set the following preferences:

Provide the following details:
Field | Description |

Performance Counters Configuration | In this section, click Add. |
Host Name | Indicates that the policy is applied on the local host where the PATROL Agent is installed. By default, this value is set to localhost. |
Object Name | Specify the performance object that you want to monitor. For example: Processor Information. |
Instance Name | Specify the performance instance that you want to enable for monitoring. For example: _Total. By default, this value is set to *. If no instances are available for the performance object specified, then let the default value remain unchanged. |
Counter Name | Specify the performance counters that you want to monitor. For example, % Processor Time, % User Time, Processor Frequency, and so on. |
