Configuring AD From Client View

This topic provides information about configuring the active directory remote monitoring. This configuration enables you to configure and monitor remote sites and domain controllers existing on the site by using the TrueSight or the Central Monitoring Administration console.

1. On the Add Monitoring Configuration window, from the Monitoring Solution list, select Microsoft Windows Servers.
2. From the Monitor Profile and Monitor Type lists, select Active Directory Remote Monitoring and AD From Client View.
3. In the Active Directory Remote Configuration section, click Add.
4. Click the three dots beside Site Name.
5. In the Site Configuration section, in the Site Name field, enter the site name that you want to configure.
6. In the Name of Domain Controllers field, enter the domain controllers present in the site.
   Separate two domain controllers with a comm and do not enter a space. For example - DC1,DC2.
7. Click OK.
