Average Inter-site Replication Latency (AdIntersiteReplicationLatency)

Reports the average replication latency between domain controllers between the site/domain, site forest, or both, to this domain controller (DC). The annotation for the data points reports the maximum latency and the name of the domain controllers to which the current domain controller is replicating. The value of this parameter is equal to the latency plus or minus the time difference between servers, which could end up in a negative value if the server time difference exceeds latency.

Notes

  • The Average Inter-site Replication Latency attribute in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the AdIntersiteReplicationLatency parameter in BMC PATROL.
  • This parameter is inactive by default. Each discovery cycle, the KM checks to see if more than one DC is in the current site. If there is more than one DC in the site, then the parameter becomes active. Because the active/inactive status is determined programmatically, changing the active/inactive setting for the parameter has no effect on the active/inactive status at runtime.
