Querying the WINS database

This topic provides instructions for querying the WINS database.

To query the WINS database

1. Access the NT_WINS application class menu as described in Accessing-KM-menu-commands.
2. Choose the PATROL Admin> Query WINS Database menu command to display the Select Report Destination dialog box.
3. Select one of the following:
   • Save Report on Agent Machine
     The Select-report-file-dialog-box is displayed. Enter the path and filename where you want to save the report and click Accept.
   • View as PATROL Console Report
     The Specify WINS query parameters dialog box is displayed.
4. Fill out the dialog box as described in the Using-the-Specify-WINS-query-parameters-dialog-box topic.
