DNS A  Record Status (AdDnsARecordExists)

Determines if an A record matching the IP address of the domain controller is registered with the DNS server. The KM queries the default DNS servers of the local computer. This parameter issues an alarm and provides annotation if no A records are found.

Note

The DNS A Record Status attribute in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the AdDnsARecordExists parameter in BMC PATROL.
