Configure Operating System Quotas_ Default Quota Settings dialog box
Use the Configure Operating System Quotas dialog to specify the default quota settings for the selected logical disk.

Item | Description |
Enable quota management | activates Windows operating system quota management on the logical disk |
Deny disk space to users exceeding quota | When users exceed the default quota defined for the logical disk, they are denied additional disk space. |
Select the default limit for new users |

Do not limit disk space usage | When new users are added to the system, don't limit their disk space usage. |
Limit disk space usage | When new users are added to the system, limit their disk space usage as defined below: |
Set limit to | he maximum disk space on this logical disk allotted to new users |
Set warning threshold to | When the user reaches this value, they receive an operating system warning. |
Select the logging quota options for this volume: |

Log a Windows event when a user exceeds their quota limit | generates a Windows operating system event when the user exceeds the defined quota limit (Set limit to field) |
Log a Windows event when a user exceeds their threshold limit | generates a Windows operating system event when the user exceeds the defined warning threshold (Set warning threshold to field) |
OK | saves your changes and closes the dialog |
Cancel | closes the dialog without saving your changes |
Apply | applies your changes and keeps the dialog open |
