This release includes all the defect fixes and updates provided as a part of the following patch releases:

Enhancements

This Service Pack provides the following enhancements:

PATROL KM for Microsoft Cluster Server 1.9.10

Support for Cluster Shared Volume (CSV) monitoring

PATROL KM for Microsoft Cluster Server now supports Microsoft Windows Cluster Shared Volumes (CSV) feature. CSV is a feature in Windows Server in which shared disks are concurrently accessible to all nodes within a failover cluster. A single CSV can handle hundreds of virtual machines (VMs) and applications - there is no need for a separate logical unit number (LUN) for each VM or application.

In the KM, when you configure a cluster, all the Cluster Shared Volumes are automatically discovered. The Cluster Shared Volumes application class serves as a container for all the Cluster Disk instances which are part of CSV.

New metrics to determine the total and utilized disk space of the cluster

New metrics that are used to determine the total disk space and used disk space of the cluster have been added. For more information, see Total Disk Space and Disk Space Utilization.

PATROL KM for Microsoft Windows Operating System 4.8.10

Enhanced CMA configuration for Services

You can now configure a Service by its Startup Type. For more information, Windows Services.

New PATROL configuration variable for WinRM timeout

A new PATROL configuration variable has been introduced that provides a way to configure the timeout when a specific WinRM error is encountered. For more information, see PATROL KM for Microsoft Windows OS configuration variables
