DFS Link Replication Status (DfsReplicationStatus)

Monitors whether or not the current DFS replica link is the same as the link it is replicating.

Note

The DFS Link Replication Status attribute in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the DfsReplicationStatus parameter in BMC PATROL.

Recommendations

If this parameter displays an alarm:

  1. Make sure the File Replication Service is running.
  2. Check the Event Log for File Replication Service errors.
  3. Check the network connectivity of the DFS server and linked computers.
  4. Check your DFS configuration (Start => Administrative Tools => Distributed File System).
