DFS Link (NT_DFS_LINK)

This application class represents the links that are created from the Distributed File System (DFS) root server to various servers throughout the domain. After the NT_DFS_ROOT class is discovered on Microsoft Windows Servers running DFS, an instance of the NT_DFS_LINK class is created for each link that has been created on the current root DFS server.

Note

The DFS Link monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the NT_DFS_LINK application class in BMC PATROL.
