COM+ DTC (COM_DTC)
Monitors and manages the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MS DTC) service. It is a child of the COM_PLUS application class.
This application class:
- Monitors Windows 2000 log events for the MS DTC service
- Monitors the MS DTC service status
- Manages the MS DTC service status
This application class provides:
- Menu commands for:
- Starting and stopping the DTC Service
- Updating the application class parameters
- Controlling the trace functions of the application class
- Parameters for monitoring:
- DTC Event log errors, warnings, and information messages
- DTC active status
To access the COM_DTC application class, double-click the COM_PLUS application class.
This application class displays on the PATROL Console as DTC under the COM_PLUS application class.
