Component dependencies

Some of the components contained in PATROL for Microsoft Windows Servers depend on other components to operate. 

The following table lists those components and their dependencies:

PATROL KM for Microsoft Windows version 4.3.00 or later for full support

Installing either the NT_BASE.kml or the NT_LOAD.kml file satisfies this dependency.

BMC PATROL KM for Microsoft Windows Active Directory

  • PATROL KM for Microsoft Windows version 4.3.00 or later for full support
  • An active operating system KM Event Log instance for the following Windows Event Logs:
    • Application
    • Directory Service
    • DNS Server
    • File Replication Service

Installing either the NT_BASE.kml or the NT_LOAD.kml file satisfies this dependency.

BMC PATROL KM for Microsoft Cluster Server

PATROL KM for Microsoft Windows version 4.3.00 and later

Installing either the NT_BASE.kml or the NT_LOAD.kml file satisfies this dependency.
