Starting DTC service

Use the Start DTC Service command to start the MS DTC service.

Before you begin

  • You must be connected to a machine running the PATROL Agent.
  • COM_DTC application class must be displayed on the PATROL Console.

To start the DTC Service

  1. Access the COM_DTC application class menu as described in Accessing-KM-menu-commands.
  2. 2.Choose KM Commands > Start DTC Service.
    • If the DTC service has already been started, a Start Service MSDTC information box appears, which displays the current status of the DTC service.
    • Otherwise, the DTC service is started.
  3. 3.Click OK to close the information box.
