Configuring operating system quotas

For configuring NTFS operating system quotas, the console account that you use to connect to the PATROL Agent on the monitored system, must have local administrator rights on the monitored system.

To configure quotas

  1. Navigate to the NT_LOGICAL_DISKS application as described in Accessing-an-application-instance.
  2. Access the KM menu commands as described in Accessing-KM-menu-commands.
  3. Choose the KM menu command Configure Operating System Quotas.
  4. Right-click a drive and choose the menu command Enable users for Quota Management.
  5. Select the quota users from the Available User IDs column and move them to the Monitored User Quotas column.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Select the quota settings and then click OK or Apply.
