Monitoring AlwaysOn
PATROL for Microsoft SQL Server automatically detects and monitors AlwaysOn feature when it enabled on monitored SQL Server.
The following monitor types are related to AlwaysOn feature:
- MS SQL Server Always-On Availability Database
- MS SQL Server Always-On Availability Databases
- MS SQL Server Always-On Availability Group
- MS SQL Server Always-On Availability Groups
- MS SQL Server Always-On Availability Listener
- MS SQL Server Always-On Availability Listeners
- MS SQL Server Always-On Availability Replica
- MS SQL Server Always-On Availability Replicas
- MS SQL Server Always-On High Availability
Permissions
Login account which used for monitoring must have VIEW ANY DEFINITION permission on the SQL Server instance.
