SQL Server Always-On Availability Replica (AlwaysOn Availability Group Replica)


MSSQL_SERVER_AON_AVAILABILITY_REPLICA (AlwaysOn Availability Group Replica) is an instance of an availability group that is hosted by a specific instance of SQL Server and maintains a local copy of each availability database that belongs to the availability group. Two types of availability replicas exist: a single primary replica and one to four secondary replicas.

To access the AlwaysOn Availability Group Replica application instances, double-click the AlwaysOn Availability Group Replicas application icon, and then double-click the AlwaysOn Availability Group Replica application icon.

Note

The SQL Server Always-On Availability Replica monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the AlwaysOn Availability Group Replica application class in BMC PATROL.
