Viewing parameter data

You can display current parameter data by double-clicking the parameter icon. If a parameter graph generates annotated data points, you can display output by double-clicking the data point. Parameter history data is stored by the PATROL Agent in compressed binary files. For information about current and historical parameter information, refer to the PATROL User Guide for your console.

When a parameter goes into a warning or an alarm state, PATROL for Microsoft SQL Server usually generates a report automatically and displays the information in a task output window. You can manually view detailed information about a warning or an alarm in the PATROL Event Manager . Each warning and alarm from PATROL for Microsoft SQL Server adds an event to the PATROL Event Manager.
