ARA Settings menu

From the KM menu commands for the Server application instance, the KM Admin > Setup/Configure KM > ARA Settings menu accesses the following menu commands:

Menu command

Description

ARA Test

Performs a test of the automatic recovery action (ARA) setup
Execution of this command alarms the ARATest Parameter, executes the specified recovery actions and, after a ten-second delay, resets the ARA-Parameter-Recovery-Testing-ARATest parameter.

Set Default Actions

Enables you to choose from the following default recovery actions:

  • Execute ara_MSSQL.cmd (a batch file)
  • Execute net send (a Windows message)
  • Execute snmptrap
  • Create Output File
  • Annotate Parameter
  • Trigger Event

Set Send to Names

Sends alert messages to all valid names entered
