9.5.00 enhancements


The following are the changes in the 9.5.00 release of BMC PATROL for Microsoft SQL Servers:

BMC ProactiveNet Central Monitoring Administration Configuration

BMC ProactiveNet Microsoft SQL Servers version 9.5.00 can be configured through BMC ProactiveNet Central Monitoring Administration (CMA). The following monitor types can be configured through CMA:

New parameters for existing Application classes

Extended monitoring aligned with the SCOM view of Microsoft SQL Server "AlwaysOn" related parameters is added in 9.5.00 release.

PATROL for Microsoft SQL Servers 9.5.00 has been enhanced with the following features:

The DB percentage values must appear similar to the values provided by the Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Manager.
To do this, add the following flag in pconfig:

In PATROL for MSSQL, the display name of SQL Knowledge Module root is changed from "MSSQL_SERVER" to "Microsoft SQL - Server"

Depreciated Administrative KM commands on MSSQL Server instance

In PATROL for Microsoft SQL Servers all Administrative KM commands on MSSQL Server instance - SQL Server Admin are removed.
