The DBPrivateColl and DBPublicColl parameters are constantly in alarm

If you observe that either the DBPrivateColl, the DBPublicColl, or both parameters are contstantly in alarm, investigage the following possible cause:

Solution

The Storage Group – Store name has been changed in the Active Directory.

Restart the IS Service so that the appropriate PerfMon counters pick up the name change:

  • MSExchangeIS Public
  • MSExchangeIS Mailbox
