PSL RESOURCE PROFILING dialog box


Use this dialog box to select reports that display profiling activity.

Description

Child Process Counts

Select this option to display the total number of child processes spawned by a PSL process or script.

File/Pipe Operations Count

Select this option to display the total number of file and pipe operations such as Open, Read, Write, Close, Seek, and Tell.

Most Executed PSL Processes

Select this option to display how many times a PSL process was executed within a period of time.

Profiling Report Top Processes

Select this option to display how many times each process executed plus time statistics, processor utilization statistics, and statistics of each PSL function within the process.

Summary Top Processes

Select this option to display the top processes in terms of time spent in the process; it shows the percentage of time spent in the Agent Run Queue, the percentage of time spent in the operating system, and the number of executions.

Builtin Function Calls Summary

Select this option to display the number of times called for each PSL function.

Builtin Function Calls by CPU

Select this option to display, for each PSL function call, the time spent in the CPU, the time spent executing user code and system code, the number of calls, and the CPU utilized per call.

Cancel

Click to close the dialog box without saving your changes.
