Changing the Exchange Server icon label

If you have many similar application class icons on your console, you may want to rename the Exchange application class icons for easier identification.

  1. Access the Exchange application class menu as described in Accessing-KM-Menu-Commands.
  2. Choose the PATROL Admin > Configure > Icon Label menu command to display the Change Icon Name dialog box.
  3. Enter the name you want to display on the application class icon.
  4. Click Accept.

The icon label is only for display purposes. You cannot change the server instance name used internally by PATROL.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
