Determining PATROL KM version number

Follow these steps to determine the PATROL KM version that is installed on the host computer.

To determine the PATROL KM version

  1. From the PATROL console, access the top-level KM application.
  2. Right-click the application and select the menu command InfoBox and described in Accessing-KM-menu-commands and Accessing-an-InfoBox.

The PATROL KM version is displayed next to KM Version.

BMC Software offers several PATROL consoles from which you can view a PATROL Knowledge Module (KM). Because of the different environments in which these consoles run, each one uses a different method to display and access information in the KM.
