LOGT application class menu commands

Menu command

Description

Modify

Click to display the modify submenu options Default Settings and Search criteria, and their dialog boxes for configuring a LOGT instance.
The Default Settings submenu option displays the Change-File-for-Label-instanceName-dialog-box, which allows you to change monitoring properties for the selected LOGT instance.
The Search Criteria submenu option displays the Configure-Search-Criterion-dialog-box or the Configure-Search-Criterion-for-XML-file-dialog-box, which allows you to configure the search criteria for the selected LOGT instance.

Report Configuration

Select this to generate a report of the search patterns that are associated with the respective search identifiers, for the selected LOGT instance.

Delete Instance

Select this to delete a file from the list of monitored files.
The file will still exist on your system, but PATROL will no longer monitor it.

Advanced Feature

Click to display the advanced features submenu options and their dialog boxes for configuring a LOGT instance, such as Configure-Log-Monitoring-Blackout-dialog-box, Configure-Size-Actions-dialog-box, Schedule-Log-Scan-dialog-box, Configure-Alarm-dialog-box, and Multiline-Search-dialog-box.
