Multiline Search dialog box

The Multiline Search dialog box allows you to define limits to search a block of lines containing a match string. The KM validates the data. If you do not enter valid data, the KM displays an error. On entering valid data, the KM then works in the Mulitline mode, and does not perform a normal search string operation.

Note

This feature is not available if you are monitoring an XML instance.

This dialog box is displayed when you select Multiline Search from the Advanced Feature submenu of the LOGT application class menu. For more information about accessing KM menu commands, see Accessing KM menu commands.

Start Delimiter

Enter a value to define the starting point for searching a match string that you want to find in the monitored file.

End Delimiter

Enter a value to define the ending point for searching a match string that you want to find in the monitored file.
