Identify Flag Directory dialog box


Flag files are used to temporarily prevent alarms during system backups and regular maintenance. The identify flag file dialog box allows you to direct the PATROL KM for Log Management to the flag file that you have created.
 To access this dialog box, select Identify Flag File from the LOG application class menu. For more information about accessing application class menus, see Accessing KM menu commands.

Enter Full Path

Enter the full path to the flag file (PMGSuspend is the default) that you have created.

Note: Do not store flag files in the /tmp directory; many Unix systems automatically clear this directory upon system reboot.

Apply

Click this button to save the changes to the dialog box.

Cancel

Click this button to exit the dialog box without saving any changes.
