Change configuration settings by adding new variables

Many configuration variables are automatically created by PATROL, but some configuration variables do not appear unless you enter them manually. By adding specific variables, you can change some of the default configure settings and configure the KM to perform in the following ways.

To add these variables, you can use the BMC Software PATROL Configuration Manager product or the Agent Configuration utility (pconfig, wpconfig, xpconfig).
