Configuring Disks

This topic provides instructions to configure the Disks monitor type. You can configure it from the Linux Default monitor profile and the Linux Storage monitor profile. 

Note

Filtering that is configured using the /AgentSetup/NUK_Disk.filterList variable is not supported.

Description

Disk Include/Exclude Operation

Exclude Disk

Enter the disk name or a regular expression to filter disks that you want to exclude from monitoring. To exclude multiple disks, enter a comma-separated list of regular expressions. For example, sd1.*,vdc2.*

Note: If the rules are equally specific (if you exclude a disk, and include the same disk) then exclude takes precedence over include. 

Include Disk

Enter the disk name or a regular expression to filter disks that you want to include for monitoring. To include multiple disks, enter a comma-separated list of regular expressions. For example, sd1.*,vdc2.*

By default all disks are included for monitoring.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
