Configuring KM debug
This topic provides instructions to configure logs for the KM. Using the Linux Debug monitor profile, you can enable logs for the KM. These debug logs help you troubleshoot if the monitored results are incorrect.
To configure the monitor type, select the following options on the Add Monitoring Configuration window:
Monitor profile | Monitor type |
---|---|
Linux Debug | Default |
The following table provides description of the fields available to configure the monitor type:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Configure debug | |
Host name | Enter the remote or local host name for which you want to enable debugging. For a local host, retain the default value in the field. For a remote host, ensure that you use the same name as you have used while configuring remote monitoring - Host Names > File Path field. Debug logs are created in the $PATROL_HOME/log/trace/<PATROL_HostName>/<PATROL_Port> directory. The log file name is issow.log. |
