Before installing PATROL for Light Weight Protocols in a production environment, BMC recommends that you first install it in a test environment on a limited number of computers and test the installation thoroughly.
Important information
Metadata changes between versions 2.0.10 and 2.1.00 might cause errors in the TrueSight environment, such as unable to view the proper title or unit on the graph.
As a best practice, have one version of a particular KM under a TrueSight Presentation Server. Do not have a combination of two versions of a KM under the same Presentation Server.
Review thresholds and modify them appropriately, if you had set values for the previous KM version.
