Triggering an event in the Operations Console
If you did not configure the device to pinged properly or if there is an error in the configuration, a warning message will be displayed in the Monitor Status parameter of the ping monitor type. Once a configuration error is observed by the monitor type, you can trigger an event on the Operations Console. To trigger the event, set the /EventSetup/Format/BiiP3/catalogs/0/types/41/active pconfig variable to 1:
/EventSetup/Format/BiiP3/catalogs/0/types/41/active =1
