The PATROL for Kubernetes provides these capabilities for addressing the following business goals:

Monitor performance and availability of the Kubernetes Cluster

Configure the KM to monitor the performance of the following:

  • Cluster components
  • Cluster nodes
  • Cluster controllers 
  • Cluster workloads (Deployment, ReplicaSet, DaemonSet, and StatefulSet of the cluster)

Create filters for monitoring

  • Include or exclude Namespaces from monitoring
  • Enable or disable Containers monitoring

View performance graphs

View graphs that are created by using the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of the monitor type. You can dynamically change the metric or other graph data by using the graphing options. 

Graph data can be viewed on hourly, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

View events

View intelligent events on the selected attributes and for the selected duration. PATROL Agent events that are associated with monitors are also considered intelligent events.
