Monitor cluster nodes using host name labels instead of IPs

In cloud-managed Kubernetes environments, if the node name is returned as an IP address, the system checks node labels for host names by using JVM arguments. If a host name is found, the system replaces the IP address with the host name as the identifier. For more information, see Configuring-Kubernetes-monitoring-profile.

Monitor the health of your Kubernetes jobs

Get insights into Kubernetes environment to collect the following attributes in the Kubernetes-Job-K8S_JOB and Kubernetes-Namespace-K8S_NAMESPACE monitor types:

  • Duration (Duration)
  • Status (Status)
  • Total Jobs (TotalJobs)

Create a single policy to monitor multiple clusters 

You can now monitor multiple clusters by using a single monitor policy if you are using Helix Monitor Agent.

It saves the effort to configure and maintain multiple policies for multiple clusters.
