Enabling and disabling debugging


The procedures in this topic describe how to enable and disable PATROL Script Language (PSL) bugging in a JBoss environment.

To enable and disable PSL debugging

  1. To enable or disable PSL debugging for a JBoss environment, access the icon of the JBoss environment, and select KM Commands > Debug > PSL Debug ON.
  2.  To disable PSL debugging for a JBoss environment, access the icon of the JBoss environment, and select KM Commands > Debug > PSL Debug OFF.

The psl debug file is located at PATROL_HOME\Patrol3\log\pjb-AgentName:port.kmlog

To enable and disable Java log debugging

You can select three different level of Java log debugging. To choose the levels of Java log debugging, perform one of the following steps, from a JBoss environment:

  1. To select Info level, right-click the JBoss environment icon and select KM Commands > KM Administration > Java log Level > Info.
  2. To select Fine level, access the icon of the JBoss environment, and select KM Commands > KM Administration > Java log Level > Fine.
  3. To select Finest as the level, righ-click the JBoss environment, and select KM Commands > KM Administration > Java log Level > Finest.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
