Monitoring secure web servers (SSL)

All certificates are installed at the container level. You can install Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) client certificates into the BMC PATROL for Internet Servers key database. You can then use these client certificates when monitoring SSL web sites. You can monitor different websites or URLs that require different client certificates, only if the required certificates are installed.

Recommendation

If you are re-installing or upgrading BMC PATROL for Internet Servers, BMC recommends that you create a back up of the PATROL_HOME/INET/ssl/config and PATROL_HOME/INET/ssldb directories.
