Setting Java home

By default BMC PATROL for Internet Servers discovers the Java home variable if it is defined in the environment variables. Use the Set Java Home command if you have not defined the Java home variable, or wish to use alternative path to the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.6 or later.

To set Java home

  1. Select and right-click Internet Services.
  2. Select KM Commands > Set Java Home.
  3. Enter a full path to Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.6 or later.
  4. Click Accept.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
