1.1.00 enhancements

This topic contains information about the features in version 1.1.00 of the BMC PATROL for Hadoop product. BMC PATROL for Hadoop provides the ability to monitor your Hadoop environment along with all its components. The Hadoop environment includes DataNodes, NameNodes, Secondary NameNodes, JobTrackers, TaskTrackers, NodeManagers, JobHistory, ResoureManagers and JournalNodes.

Features

BMC PATROL for Hadoop provides the following features for monitoring your environment:

Supports Kerberos authentication

PATROL for Hadoop now supports Kerberos authentication while configuring an instance in the Hadoop environment.  

Supports IBM BigInsights 4.1 and 4.2

PATROL for Hadoop 1.1.00 now supports IBM BigInsights 4.1 and 4.2.

Supports High Availability environment

PATROL for Hadoop 1.1.00 now supports High Availability environment.
