Hadoop JobTracker metrics (HADOOP_JOBTRACKER_METRICS)

The HADOOP_JOBTRACKER_METRICS application class contains attributes that display the jobtracker information. The attributes include number of jobs, maps, map slots, trackers and other metrics of the cluster. The Hadoop KM gathers these attributes by executing the following query:

<JobTracker jmx url>?qry=Hadoop:service=JobTracker,name=JobTrackerMetrics

where,

<JobTracker jmx url> is the Java Management Extensions url, http://<<job tracker host name>>:<<jobtracker port>>/jmx 

qry is Hadoop by default

service contains the type of the group, for example, DataNode, ResourceManager, JobTracker, ResourceManager, TaskTracker and other available groups

name contains the type of metrics data you want to collect and display, for example, JVMmetrics, Queuemetrics, RPCactivity and other available metrics types
