The Alarm 1 values must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be less than Alarm 2 values
  • Cannot overlap the Alarm 2 range
  • Cannot fall outside of the range limits or border range.

Alarm Range 2

To activate, select Enable.
Use Alarm 2 as a first-level alert condition representing either a warn or an alarm state.
The Alarm 2 values must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be less than Alarm 1 values
  • Cannot overlap the Alarm 1 range
  • Cannot fall outside of the range limits or border range.

Choose Duration of Change

If you select Apply to current session, the settings are valid until the PATROL agent is restarted.
If you select Make persistent, the settings are valid until you change them or you elect to discontinue using the PATROL KM for Event Management parameter settings and then restart the PATROL agent.
