Local Alert Settings
You can use the Local Alert Settings menu commands to specify configurations or rules that apply to the PATROL Agent where the alert occurs. Local settings can include external procedures (for example, script, batch file, or other OS command) to run for local notification and recovery actions. Local notification settings (for example, locally defined targets and the notification command) are used only if the value of the Notification System is set to Local. If the Notification System is set to Remote, local alert settings, including local notification targets, are not forwarded to the notification servers.
