Modifying or removing an instance
You can modify or remove a configured DB2 instance by using either the PATROL Configuration Manager or by changing the variables through menu commands in an instance, with the exception of those listed in the following topics:
- Configuration-data-that-is-not-stored-in-the-pconfig-variables
- Do-not-modify-configuration-variables-that-are-for-internal-use-only
- Application classes with status changes set in code
The following procedure for modifying or removing a configured DB2 UDB instance employs the strengths of the KM and PATROL Configuration Manager: Modifying-or-removing-a-configured-instance. For a complete list of the PATROL configuration variables and the strings that they generate, see pconfig variables.
