Do not change parameters with fixed settings

Some PATROL for DB2 UDB consumer parameters have thresholds that are not on a sliding scale, but are fixed at a particular value because that value is directly connected to the KM. For example, all parameters that have a Boolean output are created to react only to a setting of 0 or 1.

There are several features of PATROL for DB2 UDB that are not configurable by manipulating PATROL Configuration Management variables. These are

  • port configuration
  • SQL Viewer
  • deadlock detection
  • PATROL environment data tablespace configuration

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
