Deleting an SQL Viewer

Use this task to drop one or more SQL Viewers that you select from a list of viewers associated with a database. This action removes the viewer and all associated data (not previously saved to a file) collected by the viewer.

  1. Right-click on the SQL_VIEWER icon and select Drop SQL Viewer.
  2. Select one or more SQL Viewers to delete.
  3. Click OK.
If the viewer selected is an active viewer (it has been started and is actively collecting data), a dialog box opens, asking if you want to force the deletion of the viewer.
  4. If you do not want to force the deletion, click Cancel to abort the operation. If you want to force the deletion of an active viewer, click Force.
  5. View the confirmation message and click OK.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
