Database Node Administration menu
To access the Database Node Administration menu, right-click on a database icon. The following submenus and commands are available.
Nodes menu
Menu command | Description |
|---|---|
List Nodes | displays a list of the nodes associated with the selected database |
List Catalog Node | displays the catalog node for a selected database |
Nodegroups menu
Menu command | Description |
|---|---|
List Nodegroups | displays the nodegroups for a selected database |
List Nodegroup Info | displays nodegroup information for a selected database |
List Nodegroup Partitions | displays nodegroup partitions for a selected database |
Create Nodegroup | creates a nodegroup within a selected database, and assigns partitions to the nodegroup |
Alter Nodegroup | adds, or drops, one or more partitions from a specific nodegroup |
Drop Nodegroup | deletes a nodegroup |
Redistribute Nodegroup | redistributes the data across the nodes after altering a nodegroup, with the option to specify the method of distribution |
