DB2EEEDB_NODE_RECOVERY menu


To access the DB2EEEDB_NODE_RECOVERY menu and the following menu commands for setting up recovery monitoring, right-click on the DB2EEEDB_NODE_RECOVERY icon in a database instance object window.

  • Backup menu
  • Indoubt Transactions menu
  • Recovery History File menu
  • Reorg Check menu

Backup menu

Menu command

Description

Configure Backup Directory

specifies the path name where the backups are to be monitored for a database

Indoubt Transactions menu

Menu command

Description

Ack InDoubt Trans alarm

acknowledges an active alarm indicating the existence of indoubt transaction(s) in the database

Start indoubt trans monitor

Starts indoubt transaction monitoring

Stop indoubt trans monitor

Stops indoubt transaction monitoring

Recovery History File menu

Menu command

Description

Display History File

displays entries in the Recovery History File

Prune History File

allows you to delete entries occurring after a specified timestamp from the recovery history file

Reorg Check menu

Menu command

Description

Ack ReorgCheck alarm

acknowledges an active alarm indicating there are tables that are candidates for reorganization

Configure Reorg Check

configure the environment to run the ReorgCheck parameter for a database
