DB2EEEDB_NODE_PERFORMANCE menu


The DB2EEEDB_NODE_PERFORMANCE menu provides menu commands that enable you to configure advanced performance monitoring for a database. To access the DB2EEEDB_NODE_PERFORMANCE menu items, right-click on the PERFORMANCE icon. The following submenus and commands are available:

  • Advanced Performance Monitor menu
  • Table Space I/O Monitor menu
  • Configure ResponseExec Time menu

 Advanced Performance Monitor menu

Menu command

Description

Configure

allows you to specify individual SQL statements, a block of statements, or a file containing a collection of statements for which you want to collect timing statistics

Remove

removes the user-defined advanced performance monitoring configurations set up to monitor a database

Start

begins scheduling and executing performance monitoring using the metrics specified in the Advanced Performance Monitor configuration

Stop

stops the advanced performance monitoring activities

 Table Space I/O Monitor menu

Menu command

Description

Configure

allows you to select up to five tablespaces whose I/O times will be monitored by the parameter TableSpaceIO

Start

starts tablespace I/O monitoring

Stop

stops tablespace I/O monitoring

Configure ResponseExecTime menu

Menu command

Description

Disable

disables ResponseExec Time

Enable

enables ResponseExec Time
