Viewing database statistics


Use the following procedures to view the objects that are associated with a selected database and to run reports that provide information about the activities in a database. General reports provide details of a general nature about a specific element or activity in the database. Summary reports consolidate configuration and status information that is relevant to a specific element of the database.

To view objects associated with a database

Right-click on the DB2EEE database icon and select any of the following commands:

  • List Applications
  • List Tables
  • List Nodes
  • List Catalog Node
  • List Nodegroups
  • List Nodegroup Partitions

To run a report in the database report menu

  1. Right-click on the DB2EEE database icon and select Reports > General or Reports > Summary.
  2. From the database Reports menu, select General or Summary, and then select one of the following reports:
    • General reports
      • Buffer Pool Info
      • Connection Info
      • Database Activity Info
      • General Info
      • I/O Activity Info
      • Lock Info
      • Logging Activity Info
      • Sort Activity
      • SQL Statement Activity
      • Table Activity Info
      • Applications Info
      • Tablespace Info
    • Summary reports
      • DB Applications By AgentID
      • DB Applications By Node
      • Tablespace parameters

If a problem occurs

If the message Not Collected appears when you run a report, verify that the appropriate monitor switch is set to ON. For information about the appropriate monitor switch settings, see Report dependencies on DB2 monitor switch settings.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
