Managing partition servers (nodes)


In the PATROL console, you can perform various tasks at the node that affect only that single partition server. For example, you can run the Add Node utility at the node to add the node to the parallel configuration, or run reports that give general details and summary information about the DBM instance at the node. The icon labeled DB2EEE_NODE contains the node objects. Right-click on a node object icon to complete the following tasks.

To perform node administration tasks at a partition server

  1. Right-click on the node object icon and select Database Administration.
  2. select the following commands to perform the described task:

To run the node reports

  1. Right-click on the node icon and select Reports.
  2. select the General or Summarycommand to view the following reports:
    • General reports
      • General Info (DBM information)
      • Connection Info
      • Sort Info
      • Agent Info
      • FCM Info
    • Summary reports
      • Node Applications

        This report displays active applications at the node.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
