Managing database partitions at the node

You can perform database management tasks on the partition servers in your DB2 configuration by using the commands available in the DB2EEE_DB_NODE application class menu. The commands allow you to monitor attributes of a database that are associated with a particular partition server (node) or perform crash recovery for the partition.

To access the menu, in the database icon window for the selected database, open the DB2EEE_DB_NODE container and select the partition with which you want to work.

Note

The commands discussed in the following tasks execute only on the single node partition.
