Managing database operations and configuration

The database application class menu in PATROL for DB2 UDB provides the commands that enable you to manage the activities of your DB2 databases in a parallel or partitioned configuration. These tasks include starting and stopping a database, viewing and updating the database configuration file, running database reports, and managing connected applications. You can also process ad hoc queries with the SQL Processor command, discussed in Performing ad hoc queries in a database#Performingadhocqueriesinadatabase-19410.
