Viewing the KM parameters and collected statistics
To view the parameters that give a complete picture of the current state of a particular DB2 server instance, database, or other resource, double-click an icon that represents an application object.
DB2 instance parameters
The DB2 (DB2EEE in DB2 UDB EEE) application class parameters are available from the P* container icon when you open a DB2 instance object window. Display the collected statistics by double-clicking a particular parameter icon. For more details about these parameters, see Application-classes.
DB2 database parameters
PATROL for DB2 UDB has an extensive set of parameters associated with monitoring DB2 databases. The parameters for monitoring DB2 databases are grouped into the following parameter class categories, each represented by an icon:
- Capacity
- Lock
- Log
- Performance
- Recovery
- SQL
The following figure shows the DB2 database parameter class icons as they appear in the DB2_DB object window.

Double-click a parameter class icon to open the container window and display the associated parameters in the PATROL console.
